Quick Tips for Immediate Relief

Here are a few quick tips you can try to manage your anxiety:

  1. 5-4-3-2-1 Grounding Technique: Look around and name 5 things you can see, 4 things you can touch, 3 things you can hear, 2 things you can smell, and 1 thing you can taste. This helps bring your focus back to the present moment.
  2. Deep Breathing: Inhale deeply for 4 seconds, hold for 4 seconds, and exhale for 4 seconds. Repeat this a few times to calm your nervous system.
  3. Positive Self-Talk: Replace negative thoughts with positive affirmations like "I am safe," "I can handle this," and "These feelings will pass."
