Dementia Care Education Series: Tuesdays with Dr. Tyler

Join Dr. Tyler Maxson for a special virtual education series focused on dementia care, held every Tuesday in November (5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th) at 12 PM Arizona Time. This four-week series is designed for caregivers, assisted living administrators, and anyone interested in learning more about compassionate, trauma-informed approaches to dementia care.

This means you can attend without leaving your loved one.  Attend from the comfort of your home just by using your computer or phone. 

Each session will feature a 30-minute educational presentation followed by time for questions and facilitated discussion. Topics covered include:

• Week 1 (Nov 12): Understanding the Dementia Diagnosis
• Week 2 (Nov 19): Compassionate Care and Trauma-Informed Approaches
• Week 3 (Nov 26): Communication and De-escalation Strategies
• Week 4 (TBD): Caregiver Burnout, Self-Care, and Respite

• Dates: Tuesdays in November (12th, 19th, 26th)
• Time: 12:00 PM Arizona Time
• Format: Online group setting with live discussions
• Fee: $25 per session or $100 for all four sessions (Non-refundable)
